I was searching for stretching and exercise tips in the world wide web when I came across something quite interesting.

It seems Yoga has a lot of benefits to offer to a biker!



It says that there are many reasons why practicing yoga can help people's riding:

  • improved attention whilst riding
  • improved comfort whilst riding
  • better able to ride comfortably for longer (covering more distance)
  • quicker recovery from injury
  • improved sleep, and therefore energy and attention whilst riding
  • improved ability to cope with pain and discomfort (should you have an accident)
  • feeling more at ease and therefore able to enjoy the ride and the scenery more
  • improved strength (makes riding more comfortable and less like wrestling a monster!)
  • increased energy levels
  • the list goes on.
